was the last thing yelled
in my ear as I slid into the driver's
side of the Mazda and tore
out of the parking lot.
Ruined her life. Her dear
dear life with Johnny.
She'll live. He'll live.
Maybe not together,
but they'll be happy...
in about eight years.
